Qianpu Township is located in the northeast of Zongyang County, upstream of Lake Sai Brina, and belongs to low and shallow mountainous areas with good vegetation coverage. The highest elevation in the township is 674.9 meters (Sangong Mountain), and the lowest elevation is only 18.9 meters. Zhoutan Town in the east, Bai Mei Township in the west, Hengbu Town in the south and Lujiang and Wuwei counties in the north. The total area of the township is 68.2 square kilometers, including 838.25 hectares of cultivated land, 4347.85 hectares of mountain fields and 0/.5 hectares of polder fields. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 105 villagers' groups with a population of 2,966. It has jurisdiction over Jiangjun Village, Jingbian Village, Lushi Village, Huzhan Village, Huanggang Village, Nanling Village, Changshan Village, Huang Chong Village and Qianpu Village. Qianpu Township was merged from the former Jiangjun Township and Qianpu Township in the1990s! In history, the general's side is more humanistic, and the general temple is a thousand-year-old temple!
