Anyuan County is located in the south of Jiangxi Province and the southeast of Ganzhou City. Located in the upper reaches of Ganjiang River in the Yangtze River system and the source of Dongjiang River in the Pearl River system. It connects Huichang and Xunwu counties in the east, dingnan county in the south, Xinfeng county in the west and DuDu and Ganxian counties in the north.
