Yixing, as a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, still has many free scenic spots, not only free, but also unusual scenery. 1, Yixing Academy

In front of the gate of the temple stands a pillar of Ashoka, which is a long avenue. On the right side of the avenue is the statue of eighteen arhats, on the left is the corridor wall carved with colorful flying flowers and Buddha statues, and at the end of the avenue is the statue of Master Nebula. Further on is the pagoda. Back in Kannonji, the walls of the main hall are covered with lattice-shaped little bodhisattvas with fresh colors. Several great bodhisattvas standing against the wall have Indian characteristics. Looking from Kannonji, the Great Hall in the south has a wide view, and the Great Hall is in a slightly higher place, which is very magnificent. Climb up the stairs along the broad steps, and soon you will reach the Ursa Mahayana Hall, where the jade statue of Sakyamuni is enshrined. The carvings on both sides of the jade statue are beautiful. The wing next to the Hall of Ursa Major is a place to introduce Master Xing Yun, who has both calligraphy and books. 2. Taihua Mountain

Taihua Mountain, formerly known as Fangyan Mountain and also known as Zhang Shanshan, covers an area of 320 hectares and consists of nine blocks. The peak is 548 meters, which is the second peak in southern Jiangsu. This is a famous bamboo sea and Buddhist holy land.

3. Xiang Yang Old Street

Xiangyang Old Street is located in Xiangyang Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. It has been called the living water wharf since ancient times. The Zhou Dynasty became a market, and the Tang and Song Dynasties became more prosperous, forming the present Xiangyang Old Street. Most of the houses on both sides of the street are bungalows built after the Anti-Japanese War, maintaining the old appearance of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town.

5. Yixing Longchi Mountain Scenic Area

Longchi: Located at the top of the mountain. From a distance, you can see the sails of the vast Taihu Lake. Watching the sunrise here is as beautiful as Mount Tai. There are also attractions such as Xiaoyunshi in Longchi, Ancient Plank Road, Yumen Zuta, Pinxu Pavilion, Nie Cave, Huting, Baijingtai, Fenbin Pavilion, Heart-washing Pool, and Ascending to Heaven in One Step.

6. Grace Garden

It is a Jiangnan garden with a small bridge and flowing water, which combines classical and modern styles. It is an important part of Tuanjiu Scenic Area. The whole park is divided into three areas: east, middle and west, all kinds of classical pavilions and ancient bridges. With real estate lakes, Yellowstone and cobblestones as the landscape, the third district has built more than 30 major scenic spots, such as Liudi Xiaochun, Jingxi Range Rover, Biye Hongying, Yuya Waterfall, Yunxi Tower, Zhulin Tea Bar, Yongquanji, Zhiyu Pavilion, Yule Square, Bagua Twelve Palace Square, Lakeside Promenade, Songshan Counseling Promenade, Oolong Play Pearl, and Cuihu Boating.

7. East Park.

Dongxiu Park, formerly known as Xu Beihong Urban Sculpture Park, is located on the south side of Taihu Avenue and the north bank of Dongxiu New City, covering an area of about 260,000 square meters. It is a large-scale comprehensive park with the theme of urban sculpture. The park is divided into three areas: Jiuwan Square Area, Xueyuan Square Area and East Entrance Landscape Area. There are many works by famous domestic sculptors and excellent sculptures reflecting the local cultural characteristics of Yixing.
