Wu later became the first master of Zhu Degang. But when he first started to learn crosstalk, Zhu Degang imitated it by listening to the tapes of crosstalk. His father is a cross talk lover, so there are many cross talk tapes at home.

In this way, Zhu Degang entered the television industry and joined the program People's Stuffy Pot. " In 2006, Zhu Degang and Liu Zengkai will be the first Taiwan Province actors to perform cross talk at CCTV Spring Festival Gala, attracting the attention of hundreds of millions of viewers. After repeated revisions, Zhu Degang and Liu Zengkai named the jokes performed in the Spring Festival Evening as "A New Theory of Tongue Twister". This joke created many hilarious jokes by imitating tongue twisters spoken by ethnic minorities in Taiwan Province Province, which fully demonstrated the profound performance skills of the two actors.

In order to "exchange needed goods", in 2005, Taipei Quyi Troupe toured Jinan, Beijing, Tianjin and other places for 8 times, and participated in the cross-strait Quyi Development Forum. Zhu Degang and Liu Zengkai also participated in the "Li Bai Cup" 2005 Beijing Crosstalk Sketch Invitational Tournament on behalf of Taipei Quyi Troupe and China contestants from Singapore and Malaysia.
