Introduction to Chao

Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province is located in the northeast of Xiuyan 1, bordering Daling and Dayingzi Town in the east, Laohudong and Huanghuadian Town in the west, Jiamaling and Fangjialing in the south, Suzigou Town in the north and Shidaoling in the north. The total area of the township, including 2072 hectares of cultivated land, forest land 14000 hectares, 3620 hectares of barren hills and grassland, and water area 1000 hectares. In 2003, daling village, Nancigou Village, Fangjiagou Village and Dahenan Village were merged, and there were six villages, namely wasteland village, Beicigou village, Chaoyang village, Getengyu village, Wenquan village and Goumen village, with 90 villagers' groups, with a total population of16300, including agricultural population15000.
