Jishui County belongs to Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province.

Jishui, also known as Shiyang, is a county under the jurisdiction of Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province. Yongfeng County in the east, Qingyuan District in the south, Jizhou District and Ji 'an County in the west and Xiajiang County in the north.

Jishui County governs 15 towns (Wenfeng Town, futian town Town, Pangu Town, Fengjiang Town, Jintan Town, Ba Du Town, Shuangcun Town, Laoqiao Town, Luotian Town, Baisha Town, Baishui Town, Dingjiang Town, wujiang town Town and Shuinan Town), 3 townships (Shangxian Township, Shuitian Township and Guanshan Town) and 278 village committees. County People's Government is located in Wan Li Avenue, Wenfeng Town. The total area is 2509.73 square kilometers.

Jishui county has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, developed water system and dense river network. The area is rich in animal and plant resources. Common animals are wild boar, rabbits, roe deer, wolves and so on. Rare animals include Nanshan leopard red deer, pangolin and so on. There are more than 200 kinds of wild plants in the county, mainly including Litsea cubeba, Gardenia, Acorn and Vitex negundo.

Jishui County is one of the largest mineral resources counties in Ji 'an City, with world 12 categories of mineral resources. Nine categories have been found in Jishui County, namely ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, precious metals, rare earth metals, metallurgical accessories, fuels, non-metallic chemical raw materials, building materials and other non-metallic minerals, and water vapor.
