It is located in the northwest of Henan Province and the southeast of Jiaozuo City, at the intersection of the Yellow River and the Qinhe River, between 34 56 ′ ~ 3510 ′ north latitude and11310 ′ east longitude. It is adjacent to Huojia County and Yuanyang County in Xinxiang City in the east, Aibo County and wen county County in the west, Xiuwu County in the north and Xingyang City in Zhengzhou City in the south.
