About Liuyang dialect!

The western part of Liuyang dialect (Yong 'an, etc. ) belongs to Xiang dialect, close to Changsha dialect. Most of the east belongs to Gan dialect. In addition, there are Hakka dialects.

Hakka dialects are distributed in the mountainous areas in the east, northeast and southeast of Liuyang, namely, Dawei Mountain, Xiaohe, Zhang Fang, Guandu, Qibaoshan and Zhonghe. Xiang dialect is mainly distributed in towns such as Shantou, Baijia, Guanqiao, Ge Jia, Zhenchong and Yong 'an in Xixiang, Liuyang. Liuyang dialect is mainly Gan dialect, which is the most widely distributed dialect, including Chengguan dialect (namely "Liuyang dialect" in a narrow sense), Dongxiang dialect, Nanxiang dialect and Beixiang dialect.
