Should we have dinner for health?
Now my eyes are full of strange theories such as "eating and dying quickly" I almost always see crazy reprints, which are more difficult than dog skin plasters, and it is difficult to be out of sight and out of mind! If you really die quickly after a meal, westerners will die hundreds of years later and a long time ago, because dinner is the most important and rich meal in a western day! But why is the average life expectancy of westerners earlier than that of China? This is just a strange theory. It involves both Chinese medicine and Buddhism. I have to say that both Chinese medicine and Buddhism say "no food in the afternoon". Isn't this obvious nonsense? ! Not eating in the afternoon is primitive Buddhism, a tradition in Southern Buddhism now, and has nothing to do with Chinese medicine. What's more, the Buddha asked not to eat after noon, not to "die quickly" or "live long". If this is really the case, the Buddha will really become the generation he criticized as "the wish of long-lived people" and stay away from the right path of nirvana. Of course, there are many reasons for not eating after noon. First, at least whatever exists in the world must eat. Of course, people are no exception. So eating is "eating". Second, in the world, immortals eat in the morning and evil spirits eat at night. The so-called "evil spirits eat in the morning and eat at night". Because the Buddha said "the middle way", so in order to distinguish it from the way of ghosts and gods, the Buddha was merciful and had lunch at noon, which is the so-called "one food in Japan and China". Third, that's why you only eat one meal and stop eating after noon. In fact, it is to be content with less and avoid greed; More importantly, it helps to practice meditation. I have a deep understanding of this. If you eat three meals a day, your qi and blood will be concentrated in your stomach, and your digestive burden will be heavy. When practicing meditation again, the stomach is squeezed, which is easy to cause indigestion, and qi and blood cannot flow smoothly in the chest and back. After a long time, not only can you not settle down, but you will get sick and even vomit blood! This is the way to die quickly. Therefore, if you are not a yogi, there is no need to "eat in the afternoon". Even practitioners are not all suitable for this. Personally, I have seen quite a few lay people insist on "not eating in the afternoon", but they are all terminally ill and pale. So there was a great Zen master in ancient China who said, "Eat when you are hungry and sleep when you are sleepy"-eat when you are hungry and sleep when you are sleepy. Don't mess yourself up. The so-called normal mind is the Tao, but it is not like this "death at dinner." Nowadays, Chinese studies are flourishing, but the most exciting thing in the Jianghu is not the old people, but the charlatans who tell fortune and sell fake drugs, which is often referred to as the Zhouyi Materia Medica Huangdi Neijing. Now, the masters and aunts of Chinese studies all over the world say that you are good. ! alas ......
