Differences between Zhangping Dialect and Datian Dialect

Zhangping is located in the upper reaches of Jiulong River in Zhangzhou.

2. Youxi Datian belongs to Youxi Valley, the main tributary of Minjiang River, relying on Quanzhou Yongchun Dehua. Datian was still under the jurisdiction of Yongchun government in Qing Dynasty. There are three towns in Daejeon that speak Minnan dialect, which is said to have been cut from Dehua to Daejeon before liberation, so it can be ignored. Most villages and towns in Daejeon speak a dialect called "Lu Qian dialect". According to homophones and common words, Datian dialect is completely biased.

3. Putian and Xianyou belonged to Quanzhou before the Song Dynasty, and there was no obvious difference in dialects. Later, after they became independent from Xinghua Army, they gradually developed some characteristics of Fujian Oriental Dialect, but the foundation was Minnan dialect. Phonetic research is completely characterized by Zhang Qiang dialect, and there is almost no feature of all Qiang dialects.

4. Putian and Xianyou can become independent branches of Min dialect. Why can't Youxi in Otawa become an independent branch of Min dialect? In fact, Datian and Youxi dialects are no closer to Minnan dialect than Putian dialect. The difference between Putian dialect and Minnan dialect is only to learn from Mindong dialect, but it is better than Minnan dialect in correspondence.
