The second part of naming culture: the development history of name numerology

The study of fame originated from the philosophical thoughts of China's sages and is the quintessence of our country. Confucius said: "Justification" is a simple sentence, but its meaning already implies the importance of people to names. There is a famous saying in ancient times: "A name must be real, and a name is a real guest." In Shuowen, the motto is "name", "destiny" and "name is pretentious". In ancient times, although many scholars studied numerology, it is a pity that they only studied the literal meaning without development, and did not combine it with the Book of Changes to form a special knowledge. Later, although various generations of officials had detailed supplements and explanations, they were not taken seriously. Instead, they made heresies and used them only for folk fortune telling. As a result, this romantic trend of thought spread to Japan and gradually became popular, which officially presented the origin of Ming studies. By the end of18th century19th century, Japanese scientist Kenyon Kumazaki had systematically sorted out the study of famous names, which was actually the study of China people's names. But students who study this subject are given the student number of "Saint Student". Then it spread to Singapore, Macau, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong, South Korea and other places, and gradually spread to the northeast of China.
