Who is Princess Ankang?

1. Princess Ankang was the daughter of Gao Jian, the founding emperor of Shu before the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms. Princess Ankang's deeds in the former Shu are not recorded. Princess Ankang stayed in Chengdu after the demise of the former Shu. In 949, Xu Guangpu, the prime minister of Houshu, molested Ankang princess royal because of his frivolous personality. 1Feb. 23rd, Xu Guangpu was dismissed as an official by Meng Changjun, the Emperor of Houshu. 2. Princess Ankang, the eighth daughter of Tang Muzong Hengli, whose birth mother is unknown. Princess Ankang once became a monk. Tang Xizong was an official for four years (877), and the princess was quite upset when she was away from home. She also sent letters to Princess Yongxing, Princess Tianchang, Princess Ningguo and Princess Xingtang in the south.

Princess Ankang, the 14th daughter of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin, was born by Shu Fei and was buried with Zhaoling.

Ouyang Xiu's Book of the New Tang Dynasty and Biography of the Eight Emperors recorded: "Princess Ankang, marry Dugu Mou."

Tang Yaohui recorded the marriage of Princess Ankang to Dugu in Six Books of the Emperor, which is consistent with the record in New Tang Book.
