What mountain does Daizong refer to?

Daizong refers to Mount Tai, also known as Daishan, Daizong, Daiyue, Dongyue and Taiyue, which was renamed "Taishan" in the Spring and Autumn Period. As one of the five mountains, it is known as "the head of the five mountains" and "the first mountain in the world".

Mount Tai runs through the middle of Shandong Province, within the territory of Tai 'an City, between Tai 'an City, Jinan City and Zibo City. It is adjacent to Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, and backed by Jinan, the spring city. Mount Tai rises in the eastern part of North China Plain, above Qilu Plain, with the sea in the east, the Yellow River in the west and the water of Wenzhou, Suzhou and Huaihe River in the south. It is about 200 kilometers long from east to west and 50 kilometers wide from north to south. The main vein and branch vein involve more than ten surrounding counties, with a lying area of 426 square kilometers, and the elevation of the main peak Yuhuang Peak is 1532.7 meters.

Main attraction

1, Yin and Yang boundary

On the shiping in the south of Changshou Bridge in Taishan Mountain, at the top of Dongbaizhang Cliff, there is a pale white rock belt that crosses the vertical valley on both sides of the river, like a white stripe tattooed on the cliff edge. Due to the erosion of running water for many years, the surface is smooth as a mirror and the color is bright and dazzling. If you accidentally cross it, you will fall off the cliff and die in the valley, hence the name "Yin-Yang boundary".

2. Peach Blossom Rain

Taohuayu, located in the northwest of Daiding, has cableway and cable car directly to Daiding. The rocks exposed around the ropeway station are mainly gneiss adamellite in Ole Mountain. There is a NW-trending Longjiao Mountain fault on its east side, and there are associated faults on both sides of the fault that are basically parallel to it. One of the associated faults passes through the mountain, forming a joint dense zone with a width of about 5 meters, and the joint surface is almost vertical. The adamellite was cut into many thin-plate blocks, and the blocks collapsed along the vertical joint surface under the action of gravity, eventually forming a large crack with a width of several meters, which is the famous Taohuayu first line sky.
