[Numerology Philosophy 7] Taiji Eye Theory

The eyes are the windows of the soul and one of the most important places for the transformation between the inner world and the outer world. This feature of the eyes vividly shows the mysterious meaning of the transformation of Tai Chi Yin and Yang. The eye is a wonderful door.

The eye is one of the most mysterious symbols in the history of human civilization.

On the back of the national emblem of the United States and the one-dollar bill, there are signs of "the eye of providence" and "the eye of omnipotence", which are triangular and radiant eyes, meaning that "God" watches over human eyes. It must have a profound meaning for Americans to print such symbols on the national emblem and the US dollar.

The eye of God has its historical origin, and the most important source is the "eye of Horus" handed down from ancient Egypt, which is one of the most impressive symbols in ancient Egyptian culture. Horus is the god of eagle head, the god of the sky and the symbol of theocracy. His eyes refer to the god's eyes that know everything and can see everything in the world. In modern times, some people interpret the eye of Horus as the pineal gland in the human brain, which indicates awakening and wisdom beyond time and space. Of course, this interpretation has a strong sense of penetrating the meeting.

It can be inferred from these ancient and mysterious symbols that human beings have long realized the importance of eyes and derived many unique meanings from them. In the early days of mankind, when rationality and science were still extremely backward, primitive humans could only describe, explain and worship the unique things they perceived through intuition and imagination. This seemingly ignorant way of cognition may have great connotation that is worth learning from our future generations.

From the image of eyes, we in China have derived many interesting concepts and stories.

For example, the concepts of literary eye and painting eye. In Chinese class in senior high school, one of the exercises the teacher asked us to do was to find the text of an article, which may be a word or a sentence. This text eye is the key word that can best reveal the theme, core idea and artistic conception of the article. If you find the literary eye, you can have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding and grasp of the article. The existence of Yan Wen laid the tone and anchored the core of the article.

Recently, when I was reading teacher Kobayashi's WeChat official account article, I saw the word "eye painting" in one of his articles sharing my photography experience. My eyes lit up and my heart was shocked. Writing has a literary eye, and painting certainly has a painting eye. According to my little photography experience, eye painting is an image that makes a painting suddenly smart and detached. I have the habit of collecting excellent photos. When I think back to the photos that I must keep at first sight, they all have some particularly attractive features. And those photos that look beautiful and dazzling, but always feel flawed, what they lack may be drawing eyes. A figure, an expression, a unique angle and a unique combination of light and shadow may all be eye paintings.

So it is not surprising that the story is the crowning touch. The finishing touch is the most important element or operation to turn decay into magic. For example, the only prize photo selected from150,000 photos has no gorgeous colors and unique skills, and the people in the scene are too ordinary, but it is such an ordinary scene. Through the expressions and demeanor of the characters, the profound atmosphere of joy and peace of a family of three is vividly conveyed. This ordinary and warm picture is just a precious thing among all sentient beings. This true feeling of the world is just a painting eye that makes ordinary scenes deeply move people's hearts.

The mind begins to understand the eyes, which is a broader metaphor for the eyes. There is an interesting fable about "enlightenment" in "Zhuangzi": Our emperor is Shu, the emperor in Beihai is negligent, and the emperor in the Central Plains is chaotic. When you encounter chaos, chaos will treat you well. Shu He suddenly asked for revenge, saying, "Everyone has seven strategies to listen and watch food. This is unique, so try to chisel it. " Dig a hole during the day and die on the seventh day.

The story is simple. Chaos emperor was suddenly fooled by the emperor, and he opened a trick every day until the seventh day, but he was killed after seven strokes. Although the story is simple, the moral is not shallow. Chaos (pre-creation state) is born ignorant, which is its nature. If it is dug manually, it will lead to its death. Zhuangzi ran farther than Lao Zi on the road of letting nature take its course and doing nothing. If you resist, the chaos will disappear.

From the perspective of enlightenment, the first meaning is: the death of chaos can really be described as "the beginning of literacy in life"; On the other hand, if the senses are cut open and the door of life (mind) is blocked, you will die.

From the metaphysical point of view, cutting seven holes in seven days is exactly the number of seven kills (God made man for seven days), which is dangerous; The five elements of soil in the center, and the five elements in the north and south are fire and water respectively, and the soil is formed by the implied Jin Mu fire and water, so it is chaotic. Now we are clearly divided (enlightened), metal gold, wood belongs to wood, water belongs to water, fire belongs to fire, and soil disappears. The nature of soil is acceptance and tolerance, so the virtue of soil is faith, and everything will eventually be soil, which is not uncomfortable at all.

From the perspective of organization and management, chaotic chaos and orderly order are in a harmonious and delicate balance. The way of management, a mixed order. The accommodation of Middle-earth is precisely the Taiji point of chaos and order transformation, that is, the eye of yin-yang transformation.

According to the thought of yin and yang, first, everything has yin and yang; Second, the eternal transformation of Yin and Yang.

It can be inferred from the transformation of Yin and Yang that Yin is always thinking of becoming Yang, and Yang is always pursuing to become Yin. This is exactly the same as what Chairman Mao said in "On Contradictions": "Contradictions are everywhere and all the time, and the two sides of contradictions are transformed in opposite directions according to certain conditions." However, there are conditions and preconditions for the transformation of Yin and Yang. The premise is whether this yin-yang system needs to be maintained. If it is maintained, then the transformation of yin and yang cannot be completely carried out. For example, all yin turns to yang, or all yang turns to yin (not fighting corruption is the contradiction between the party and the state). At this time, Yin and Yang must be rooted in each other and maintain a certain balance.

Maintaining dynamic balance is a special state under the condition of maintaining the existing yin-yang system, and realizing the interactive balance of yin and yang requires conditions, because yin and yang are interdependent, mutually rooted and antagonistic. At this time, in fact, a wider range of yin and yang systems is needed to maintain the balance of this yin and yang system, which is not absolutely impossible from the inside, but extremely difficult and risky, and must be balanced from a more far-sighted and long-term perspective and level.

To give an inappropriate small example, leaders get angry at home, and they take it out on employees at work, employees take it out on stray dogs on the roadside, and stray dogs bully their leaders. Of course, leaders can also vent their anger at home and not bring it to work, but this operation is not easy, and it is difficult for ordinary people to do it, just as employees digest their grievances from leaders for no reason and work with great enthusiasm, which requires strong quality and inner construction.

Every transformation point of Yin and Yang is a Tai Chi point. At this point, all yin glows and all yang becomes meaningful. Take Chairman Mao's eight characters as an example. His financial killing is the yin of the eight characters. Both his own and his native land are Yang. Fire soil produces gold water. Then his eight-character taiji is very obviously concentrated on the dry bones. It is the existence of Oracle Bone Inscriptions that makes his whole eight-character pattern colorful, magnificent and earth-shattering, which makes people cry. Because of this Oracle Bone Inscriptions, all eight characters are alive. Grandmother Jia collects water, so that the seven kills can't hurt Ding Huo. Guishui symbolizes darkness, the flames of war, the breaking of mountains and rivers, and the plight of the nation in peril. These things converge on the Oracle Bone Inscriptions, which is the seal and the belief of the Chairman all his life. Because of his faith, he can lead the whole army and the whole people with pen and thought. The army and the people are his fire places and help his troops.

Golden water, water is extremely prosperous, indicating danger and difficulties; When Jia Mu's faith was tested, these difficulties were constantly making Ding Huo stronger, because Jia Mu had a fire. Through the Tai Chi point of Jia Mu, the disaster has been largely resolved, but it still needs to be completely subdued, which requires the power of soil, because it can overcome water, but Ding Huo can naturally overcome many difficulties and eventually establish the great cause of the country.

The transformation point of Yin-Yang Taiji is like a transformation gate. From this point of view, it is another world. We have always been in such a transitional door. The key is whether our eyes can catch a door that is destined to completely change our lives.
