Historical Evolution of Qiandao Lake Town

Qiandaohu Town is a beautiful young mountain city and an ancient new city. The whole city is surrounded by water on three sides, which is known as "one city has mountains and half a city has lakes".

Qiandaohu Town, formerly known as Pailing, was listed as Pailing in the annals of Jiajing Chun 'an County in Ming Dynasty. Since the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Pailing, which was named after a natural geographical entity. The Republic of China is also called Pailing. Before the town was built, Pailing went up and down the mountain for more than 3 miles, and there were many thorns. At the end of Ling Wei, there is a quadrangle-style Pailing Temple, which is uninhabited. 1958, due to the construction of Xin 'anjiang Hydropower Station Reservoir, the original branch city of Chun 'an County and the branch city of Sui 'an County were swallowed up by Bibo, and the county government moved to Pailing for reconstruction. After many twists and turns, the new county seat of Chun 'an County was built. When I first moved, it was called the town commune. 1April 1960, the town commune was merged into Qingxi commune, and the scale of the commune was adjusted 196 1 year. Qingxi and Pingshan communes belong to Qingxi District. 1962 In May, Pingshan Commune was divided into Pingshan Commune and Danzhu Commune. 1April, 965, the organizational system of the three districts was abolished, and Pingshan and Qingxi merged into Qingxi Commune. Pailing Town 165438/KLOC-0 was established on October 30th,1March 966 Danzhu Commune was subordinate to Xin 'anjiang District. 1September 1968, Xin 'anjiang District was revoked, and Danzhu Commune was subordinate to Qingxi District. 1June, 982, Qingxi Commune was divided into Qingxi Commune and Taoyuan Commune. 1In June 1985, Taoyuan Township was renamed Pingshan Township, and on September 25th, 199 1, Pailing Town was renamed Qiandao Lake Town. 1In May 1992, the original 24 villages in Qingxi Township and Pingshan Township merged into Qiandao Lake Town. In August of 200 1 year, the original six villages in Danzhu Township were merged into Qiandao Lake Town. By 2005, there were 34 administrative villages, 130 natural villages, 146 villagers' groups, 8 community neighborhood committees, and 2 1500 households (4,262 agricultural households) with a total population of 64,902 (including 53 109 non-agricultural population)
