Smart Rest is a Japanese animation, which tells the story of a maverick Zen monk's childhood rest in the early Muromachi era in Japan. Produced by Toyo Animation, it will be broadcast on Japanese Internet TV (1975 10 10/0/0/5) on June 28th.

CCTV introduced and dubbed it into Chinese version, which became an excellent cartoon popular in China at that time. This animation describes the story of a former prince who had to be separated from his mother to become a young monk in ankokuji during the Muromachi shogunate.

Story introduction

The animation takes the battle of wits as the theme. According to the childhood of a historical figure, Zen master Chi Chengchun (which is quite different from the life story in the real Zen master pool) took place during the Muromachi shogunate period.
