The clear width and clear height of temporary fire lane shall not be less than 4m. Fire lane refers to the road where fire engines pass in case of fire. According to the regulations, the clear width and clearance height of the fire lane shall not be less than 4.0 meters, and vehicles are not allowed to park on the fire lane to prevent blockage in case of fire.

The setting of temporary fire lanes on the construction site should follow the following points:

1. Temporary fire lanes should be set up at the construction site. At the same time, considering the safety of fire fighting and rescue and the reliability of water supply, the distance between the temporary fire lane and the projects under construction, temporary houses, combustible material storage yards and their processing plants should not be less than 5m and not more than 40m.

2. When the roads around the construction site meet the requirements of fire truck traffic and fire fighting and rescue, there is no need to set up temporary fire lanes on the construction site.

3. The temporary fire lane should be circular. If it is really difficult to set up a circular lane, a windmill yard with a size not less than 12m× 12m should be set at the end of the fire lane.

4. The width and height of the temporary fire lane shall not be less than 4m.

5. On the right side of the temporary fire lane, a fire truck route indicator should be set.

6. The road base, pavement and its lower facilities of temporary fire engines should be able to withstand the traffic pressure and working load of fire engines.

Fire engines should be considered for the roads in the block, and the distance between the center lines of the roads should not be greater than160.0 m. When the length of buildings along the street is greater than 150.0m or the total length is greater than 220.0m, fire lanes should be set to cross the buildings. When there are difficulties, a circular fire lane should be set up.
