Why do monks become secular?

According to the "Buddha said the merits of building a tower", "all laws are born, and I say it is because; Causal death, I say so. "

As we all know, Buddhism originated in Nepal at first, and was not introduced to China until the time of Emperor Han Ming. Buddhism from ancient India, translated into Chinese, became China Buddhism, and then quickly took root in China, and gradually flourished.

Today, thousands of years later, Buddhism has become a major religion in China, and China has also become a country with a strong Buddhist culture. It can be said that Buddhism can be seen everywhere in China. Of course, there are also a large number of monks and pilgrims who burn incense are also in an endless stream.

Becoming a monk is to cultivate one's mind and nature and pursue transcendence. Becoming a monk requires inner peace, which many people yearn for. It is precisely because of this that since the spread of Buddhism, many people have cut off 3,000 troubles in order to seek Buddhism and gain inner peace, put on a plain clothes, lived in a deep mountain valley, and kept company with Buddhism all day long.

For monks, entering Buddhism means that secular interests have nothing to do with it. This article is about an example of a businessman becoming a monk.

First of all, successful businessmen were still trapped by the world of mortals, but they were driven out of the temple after becoming monks in Lu Dao.

It can be said that there will always be many grievances in anyone's life, and for ordinary people who can't bear the hardships of life, the introduction of Buddhism is undoubtedly one of the ways to get rid of them.

Once upon a time, there was a monk named Lu Dao in Fukenji, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Before being shaved, the Lu Dao monk was a successful businessman. So what made him give up his superior life and be willing to accompany the ancient Buddha all day?

In fact, even the most successful people in their careers may not understand the law of love. Taoist Lu is a typical example.

Among many people's feelings, love is the most elusive. Before becoming a monk, Lu Dao experienced two failed marriages. It is also for this reason that he finally chose to escape into an empty door.

The first marriage of monk Lu Dao was established under the control of his parents. Because their parents' thoughts were still in the feudal period, they arranged a marriage for Lu Dao monk, which was unexpected by Lu Dao monk and also related to him.

Although Lu Dao, a monk, was unwilling, he finally chose to obey his parents' arrangement. After that, Brother Lu Dao and his wife also had offspring. Originally, he thought that the birth of future generations would make their families stable, but unexpectedly, the estrangement and contradiction between husband and wife formed shortly after the birth of children made them finally choose divorce.

At that time, monk Lu Dao was already a successful business elite. His parents couldn't bear to see him die alone at a young age, so they introduced him to a new marriage partner in a planned way. However, this marriage is not much better than the first marriage, so in the end, the Taoist priests and monks came to the end of divorce.

After two consecutive failed marriages, monk Lu Dao completely lost his fantasy and expectation of love, and also caused serious damage to his soul, so he finally chose to convert to Buddhism in 20 10, when he was only 35 years old. So he went to Fujian Temple for a haircut and became a monk. From then on, he ended the secular life in the first half of his life and began their Buddhist life in the second half.

However, he was later driven out of the temple and became a "fake monk". What happened?

In fact, the reason why monk Lu Dao was expelled from the temple was not because he did something wrong, but because of his good deeds.

Second, I was kind enough to help women, but I was kicked out of the temple and became a "fake monk"

After the monk in Lu Dao shaved his hair and became a monk, he would not only chant Buddhist scriptures and praise Buddha on weekdays, but also receive pilgrims who came to burn incense and worship Buddha. After a long time, Lu Dao monk found a strange thing, that is, pregnant women often pray in temples, which made Lu Dao monk feel very confused.

Until 20 12, when monk Lu Dao was worshipping Buddha, suddenly a pregnant woman who looked skinny and uneasy came in. When she saw the pregnant woman crying again, Lu Dao went to comfort her, hoping to inspire her. But a woman's mood can't calm down for a long time.

Under the comfort of monk Lu Dao, the pregnant woman revealed her difficulties. So she's here to cross over the baby. Because of family reasons, she could not give birth to a child and had to have an abortion. She was reluctant, but there was nothing she could do. In desperation, she came to the temple, hoping to cross over for her children.

Facing the desperate pregnant woman, Lu Dao, a monk who knew the truth, was deeply shocked.

Abortion is not advocated in Buddhist education, because every life has the right to exist. Facing the pregnant woman, it reminded Brother Lu Dao of his only daughter, so he felt the same way and began to persuade the woman to give birth to the child and help her find a way.

After several pregnant women came to cross over for their children, a new idea appeared in the mind of monk Lu Dao. He intends to use his savings before becoming a monk to help those pregnant women who have difficulties and let those new lives come to the world.

Therefore, monk Lu Dao will bear all the expenses of pregnant women from hospital delivery to confinement. If pregnant women are unable to raise their children, monk Lu Dao will also be responsible for raising them until they are 18 years old. And his only requirement for those pregnant women is to let them know when the child 18 years old. Of course, they can also pick up the children at any time during the period.

This shows how kind monk Lu Dao is. He made selfless efforts and money to provide free help to pregnant women who are unable to raise their children. How admirable!

Thanks to the kindness of Brother Lu Dao, his reputation is getting bigger and bigger. However, his getting along with pregnant women made some people start spreading false rumors. Although these rumors were false, quiet Buddhists could not accept them, so in desperation, they had to drive Lu Dao monk out of the temple. In order to help pregnant women, the monk Lu Daoning would rather be swept away than stop his charity.

So, after leaving Buddhism, what happened to monk Lu Dao and his relief plan?

In 38 years, more than 200 pregnant women were rescued and as many as 22 children were named.

After leaving Fujian Temple, the monk Lu Dao, who had nowhere to go, went to Wanshan Temple.

Even though there are difficulties and obstacles ahead, monk Lu Dao is still not going to stop.

In order to provide a better residence, monk Lu Dao changed his residence into a "small residence for nursing students", but he lived on the ground.

After the spread of the Internet, many helpless pregnant women found the monk Lu Dao and entrusted their children to him. For these requests for help, Brother Lu Dao never refused. So from 20 13, many pregnant women gave birth smoothly with the help of Lu Daochang. By 20 16, his charity was supported by many enthusiastic people, and people donated money one after another, so that monk Lu Dao helped more than 200 pregnant women.

After the story of monk Lu Dao spread, he also accepted some media interviews. For his good deeds, he said that he was just doing good deeds and hoped that those new lives would have a chance to survive.

Most of those children were taken back by their parents when they grew up, but there were still 22 children who stayed with Lu Dao monk for various reasons, and Lu Dao monk also shouldered the responsibility of raising them and became their common father.

Selfless and great behavior like that of monk Lu Dao may be the meaning of the Buddha.
