Yueqing Rock was called Panyu in ancient times. Pearl Mountain used to be an unknown hill in the southwest of the rock. 1384, the court ordered the general Tanghe to build a city in the rocks. It is said that the original urban design drawings were built around the rocky western hills (Phoenix Mountain and Shan Zhi Mountain).
