Fortune Telling Collection - Comprehensive fortune-telling - Hanshan's most famous poem
Hanshan's most famous poem
Yaohan mountain road
Cold mountain road, cold river bank.
Birds are often chirping, but no one is silent.
The wind blew on my face and snowflakes piled up one after another.
If you don't see the sun, you don't know spring.
& lt translation >
The cold mountain road is quiet and dark, and the cold side of the ravine is secluded.
Birds often sing here, but it's empty and deserted.
The wind blew from my other door and the snow fell on me.
I don't see the sun every day, and I don't know that there is spring every year.
This poem is contained in Volume 806 of The Complete Poems of Tang Dynasty. The language of Hanshan's poems is as simple as words, with distinctive Yuefu folk song style. The content not only describes Buddhism with images, but also describes the world, human feelings and mountains and rivers. The poetic style is cold and unique. This song "Cold Mountain Road" is very representative of his style.
"This is a cold mountain road." The first two sentences come straight to the point and describe the big environment. "Cold Mountain" and "Cold Current" were immediately painted with a layer of cold background, and the words "space" and "falling" were added in front of them, which suddenly brought readers into a realm of deep understanding of bitterness and loneliness, and cold followed.
"There are often birds chirping, and there is no silence." The couplet is about the silence in the mountains, which is highlighted by the crisp birdsong to contrast the cold silence around.
"The wind blows on the face and the snow piles up one after another." Change the angle of neckline, write the climate in the mountains through the sound of drizzle and the dancing of snowflakes, and write the cold environment with wind, rain and snow.
"If you don't see the sun in the morning, you don't know spring in the year." The end of the collection is full of articles, and it is not easy to see the sun. My heart is like an ancient well, and I don't care about going to Qiu Lai in spring. The first seven sentences render the environment cold, and the last sentence writes the poet's indifferent state of mind beyond things. The word "cold" runs through the whole article and is soaked with cold.
The use of overlapping in this poem enhances its musical beauty. With the help of the repetition of syllables, the harmony runs through, hovering in one breath, and the unity of forms, the original scattered landscape, wind, snow, environment and emotion are organized into a whole, which is endless and can be called the pinnacle of overlapping poems.
