Lingtai County belongs to Pingliang City, Gansu Province, located in the southern edge of Longdong Loess Plateau, which belongs to the gully region of Loess Plateau, between Jinghe River and Weihe River, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. It borders Binzhou, Changwu, Linyou, Qianyang and Longxian in Shaanxi Province in the southeast, and Chongxin and Jingchuan in the northwest. It is between 890 ~ 1520m above sea level, located at 107 00'- 107 57' east longitude and 34 54'-35' north latitude, belonging to Dong Qi time zone.
