Shanghai Holiday is an ethical comedy filmed in Shanghai, directed by Xu Anhua and starring Oh Mom, Carina Lau, Wang Lai, Sun Peng and Huang Kunxuan. It shows the life of Shanghai civilians in the 1980s and 1990s. ?

Movie plot?

The story took place in Shanghai in the mid-1980s. Gu Laobo (noon horse ornaments), a single retired man in his sixties, lived a quiet and lonely old age in Shanghai. One day, my son called from the United States and asked his little grandson Gu Ming (Huang Kunxuan) to go back to China to live with his grandfather for a while. Gu Laobo happily took his grandson of American nationality on vacation. However, due to living habits and cultural differences, the generation gap between the two generations has had a strong conflict in this special situation. Two different lifestyles make grandparents and grandchildren unable to adapt to each other. Ordinary but real life, finally changed the little grandson, and finally let the two generations live in harmony.
