What are those scattered flowers?

There is such a story in the classic: There are several scattered flowers in Zhang's room. The flowers that flew to the Bodhisattvas fell to the ground because they couldn't stick, but the flowers that flew to the big disciple couldn't stick. The goddess said that this is because the big disciple is still used to it, so flowers can find a place to stay; Bodhisattva cleared all the habits, and the flowers could not find a place to stay.

How to treat habits and habits? The best and most practical way is to clear your mind first, then be sincere, form the habit of raising mindfulness, observe all aspects of life with clear and ethereal wisdom, and treat troubles with sincere ingenuity, so as to slowly calm down your disobedient heart. However, the classics also provide some specific ways to worry about habits. For example, if you find it difficult to concentrate and daydream often, practice meditation more; If you are greedy for love, you should cultivate more impure views; If you are particularly greedy for money, give more; If you break the precepts, you should pay more attention to restraining yourself with them; If you are prone to impatience and anger, practice more humiliation; If you are lazy and comfortable, remind yourself to improve your practice; If you are stupid and groggy, you should establish a correct view and guide your life with the correct view ... As the classic says, there are many kinds of troubles, and there must be more than six corresponding treatments. It can be seen that worrying about habits is to adjust your mentality in the right way.

This is very similar to the principle of Chinese medicine treatment: if you have a fever, the doctor will prescribe cold medicine for you; If you catch a cold, the doctor will give you a hot medicine; If your illness is lukewarm, then the doctor will prescribe you mild medicine. If the medicine is used properly, after a few days, the root of the disease will be eliminated and you will recover. The same is true of the habit of dealing with troubles. After you get rid of all your habits and troubles, you will be comfortable and your heart will return to its original purity. In this way, the iron lock that binds your mind, that is, all your persistence, will naturally disappear, and you will gain a kind of freedom and happiness that will not be disturbed and shaken by anyone or anything. This is the liberation pursued by thousands of people in Qian Qian.
