His wife is very beautiful. Her name is Wuzang. She has a pair of children, the son is a thoughtful boy and the woman is a month-old girl, all of whom have good roots. A family of four entertains themselves according to law on weekdays. When the thoughtful boy is still in infancy, he can answer questions with the Buddha and other disciples. Because of Vimalakīrti's high Buddhist accomplishment, even many bodhisattvas came to him for advice. Among them, the Bodhisattva once asked Vimalakīrti, "Since you are a great Bodhisattva, how can you be with your family at home?" Vimalakīrti replied, "My mother is wise, my father is devoted to all beings, and my wife is a blessing of practice. Daughter represents compassion and son represents kindness. I have a family, but I take Buddhism as my home. My disciples are all sentient beings, my friends are all kinds of practice methods, and even the beautiful women performing around me are the convenience of four sentient beings. "
