Tourism in Gan Long is very luxurious, and going to Jiangnan is mainly for sightseeing. Gan Long's trip to the south of the Yangtze River is mainly to satisfy his personal interests. He likes traveling, so he takes a large number of people to Jiangnan every time. Where local officials are located, it is necessary to build roads specially for Gan Long to travel, or to build palaces for Gan Long to live in, so as long as Gan Long passes by, it is necessary to take out a lot of funds from local finance to serve Gan Long.

It is precisely because of their different purposes that later generations have different opinions about their going to Jiangnan. One is for the country and the people, and the other is for myself. The extravagance and waste in the late Qianlong period almost consumed all the money saved by Kangxi and Yongzheng, leaving Jiaqing's treasury empty after Qianlong's death.
