1. Zhongxiang Ming Tombs are located in Songlin Mountain, 7.5 kilometers north of Zhongxiang City in the northwest of Wuhan. This mausoleum was built by Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty for his father "Gong Rui Xian Di".
This "Gong Rui Xian Di" has never actually been an emperor, but the mausoleum built for him completely meets the specifications of the emperor's cemetery. This is because after Emperor Jiajing succeeded to the throne, he tried to consecrate the memorial tablet of his father Wang Xian to the ancestral temple, and established the emperor status of his biological father. In the third year of Jiajing, his father was Emperor Gong Rui, and he began to rebuild the Xianling Mausoleum, which was completed 35 years later. The Xianling Mausoleum is not only exactly the same as other imperial tombs in scale and etiquette, but also surpasses other imperial tombs in architectural form. Fairy is a masterpiece of harmonious integration of architectural art and environmental aesthetics. It is surrounded by Wailuo City, which is more than 6 meters high. The city wall is more than 4700 meters long, with red walls and yellow tiles. Seen from the air, the plan of the whole cemetery is bottle-shaped, and the bottle is sacred, which means good luck. The gates, pavilions, towers, stone statues, squares, bridges, halls, Ming-style buildings and even treasure cities in the park are laid in turn, which looks solemn and simple in the landscape. Those ancient stone statues and palaces still stand tall after hundreds of years, as if each stone carries a heavy history. During the Chongzhen period in the late Ming Dynasty, after the Li Zicheng Rebels attacked Zhongxiang, some palaces of the Ming Tombs were burned down. Japanese invaders stole a lot of stone carvings when they occupied Zhongxiang. After the founding of New China, Obvious Spirit was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. 1988, the State Council announced the Ming Tomb as a national key cultural relics protection unit. In 2000, Ming Xianling was listed as a world cultural heritage by the United Nations.
3. Transportation: The bus from Wu Hanyou to Mingxianling runs every hour, which takes 3 hours. It takes 2 hours to drive from Jingzhou to Mingxianling. It takes 40 minutes to drive from Jingmen to Xianling.
