I have seen it, so I'm sure there are water ghosts. Water ghosts are not ghosts. To be precise, they are called water monkeys.

My home is in a village in Susong, Anhui, which is close to the Yangtze River. So the water system in the village is relatively developed. When I was a child, our village was drowned by water monkeys 10. Two sisters were dragged into the water together, a group of children were swimming, a boy was dragged into the water and drowned, an adult was dragged into the water and so on. No one would believe it if it wasn't for personal experience. There are too many cases here, so I can definitely tell you that water ghosts or water monkeys exist.

Let's talk about water monkeys again. Since childhood, we have been warned by our parents, relatives and next-door neighbors to swim less, to swim, and where to go, that is, to swim in a pond that adults think is safe, and never to go to other strange ponds. Because the village is close to the Yangtze River, our children will be arranged by adults to practice swimming in the river when they are 5-6 years old. At least, they can protect themselves when the Yangtze River floods or village roads are flooded in flood season. People who have never been to the Yangtze River don't know this situation. So, we started swimming when we were very young. When we were young, we heard the story of the water monkey the most. The description of the water monkey is that there is infinite power in the water and no power on the shore. Only this description, we children are not afraid at all, because we have never seen them.

My mother told me that the male owner of this family was a Chinese teacher in our primary school and later taught me. In the past, Mr. Xu's family had four children, two boys and two girls, which were very common in recent years. It happened to two girls, one is 9 years old and the other is 12 years old. The two sisters went to the fields to do farm work with their parents in the summer vacation. I washed my hands and feet by the river when I came back in the afternoon (everyone who has done farm work knows). First, my sister accidentally fell and sank directly. When my sister saw it, she pulled it without thinking. It doesn't matter if she pulled, both of them fell. You know, at that time, there were trees by the river, that is, when my sister held my sister with her hand. As I said before, all the children in our village can swim, regardless of gender.
