At that time, although Li Zongren was stationed on the mountain, in order to facilitate the command troops to contact the landlord for a salary increase, the headquarters was set up at the Liang Ancestral Hall in Daxi Village, Chenghuang, on the mountain and below. In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), on the first day of the first month, Li Zongren welcomed the new year with the soldiers at the headquarters of Liangjia Ancestral Hall. The local gentry took showers, meat and firecrackers to Liangjia Ancestral Hall to join the army next year. Liang's ancestral hall is a tall building, and the patio of the courtyard is covered with a sunshade. Businessmen set off firecrackers in the patio. At that time, Li Zongren was stationed in Chenghuang, but he often went to Yulin to report his business to his superiors. One day, after a business trip to Yulin, he went shopping with several senior officers, and everyone went to find an astrologer named Cui. Six or seven people in the same trade have seen it, and people in Li Zongren have seen it, but Cui frequently pays attention to him and says he wants to see him. Because Li Zongren didn't believe it all the time and ranked the lowest among his peers, he repeatedly refused. But the fortune teller said that he didn't accept money, and his Canadian colleagues urged him, so Li Zongren had to show him. After reading it, Cui said that yours is better than the friends who came with you. Li Zongren said: That's impossible. I am the lowest level here.
