The Jade Emperor adopted the idea that Venus was too white, tricked the Monkey King into heaven, named him Bi Marvin, and put him under house arrest. Knowing that he had been cheated, the Monkey King angrily returned to Guo Hua and erected the banner of "the Monkey King" to fight against the Heavenly Palace. The Jade Emperor was furious and ordered Li Tianwang to lead the heavenly soldiers to capture the Monkey King. As a result, the Monkey King was defeated and came back.

The Jade Emperor accepted the suggestion of Taibai Venus, falsely named the Monkey King as "the Great Sage of Qitian" and put him in charge of the Flat Peach Garden in the Heavenly Palace. One day, the Monkey King learned that the Queen Mother had a flat peach banquet and invited all kinds of immortals, but he was not invited. The Monkey King was so angry that he made a scene in Yaochi and was killed. He drank wine alone, ate the old man's elixir, collected all the food, wine, fruits and vegetables, returned to Huaguoshan, and held a fairy reception with all the monkeys. The Jade Emperor was furious and ordered the capture of the Monkey King. In the battle, the Monkey King fell into the plot of the old man. The old man sent him to the blast furnace, and instead of being burned to death, he became more divine. So the Monkey King fought back and beat the Heavenly Palace out of the water, scaring the Jade Emperor to escape.
