The base of the gatehouse is the original ancient city gate, which is piled with square stones, and the top is made of wall bricks with upturned cornices, which is very spectacular. In the past dynasties, the ancient city walls were constantly restored and expanded, and many city gates were added, such as South Gate, Wutongmen, Shuijimen and West Gate of Gu Jun. Some of them were later demolished in the road expansion, and some of them were still preserved as monuments and listed as county-level cultural relics protection.
