What does the poem Tongguan mean?

Full-text meaning: This young man, full of heroic spirit, rode on the Tongguan ancient road halfway up the mountain and watched the river by the mountain. On the spur of the moment, he went forward bravely. The crisp sound of hooves was blown away by the hunting west wind and flew into the rolling clouds. Probably from ancient times to the present, this magnificent Tongguan has been surrounded by white clouds and has never been cleared, has it?

In the last years of ancient times, the city was densely covered with high clouds, and the autumn wind blew away the sound of hooves. The river is still too wild, and it is not smooth to enter Tongguan Mountain.

Tongguan was written by the modern poet Tan Sitong.

Extended data

In the autumn of 1878, fourteen-year-old Tan Sitong (1865- 1898) passed through Tongguan, Shaanxi Province on his way from his hometown in Hunan to his father's place in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, where he enjoyed the magnificent scenery of mountains and rivers in the north and pretended to write this poem.

Level, the first two sentences "high clouds cluster the city in the end, and the autumn wind blows away the hooves", writing that Tongguan has a high potential and the autumn wind is urgent. Surrounded by high clouds, it shows that this level is high and imposing; Blow away the sound of hooves and feel the urgency of autumn wind.

The last two sentences, "The wild river is still too crowded", are about the Yellow River and mountains. The Yellow River flows into the plain, but it is still too fettered. Only when you enter Tongguan can you really see the towering mountains.

Writing about the scenery is magnificent. Xiongguan, Gaoshan and Yellow River all use the pen, and the pen power far exceeds that of ordinary teenagers.

Scene fusion. The first two sentences about Tongguan scenery have already contained lofty aspirations. The last two sentences are a reflection of the poet's own desire to break through the feudal shackles, pursue ideological emancipation, change and the rise of China.

Understanding of several key words: "flow" is a flowing rather than a river; The personification of the word "doubt" is not only the bondage of the Yellow River, but also the bondage of the poet's suspicion of feudalism, so he feels the same in the Yellow River. The word "Xie" means understanding. Only when I entered Tongguan did I understand what a towering mountain was, and I expressed Gao Qi's ambition in a tortuous way.
