In fact, there is a major qualitative difference between the single edition and the meta edition, that is, the positioning of this book is different. Dan Tianfang defined this book as a robe book, while Yuan Kuocheng defined it as a ghost book or a supernatural book. Judging from the content of the Romance of Gods, there is nothing wrong with the positioning of harmony, because this book does have two lines: the king of martial arts cuts Zhou, and the chop will seal the gods, which can be regarded as both a robe book and a ghost book. But in comparison, Yuan Kuocheng's positioning is more accurate and ingenious, which can be explained from two aspects.

First of all, the name of this book is "Romance of Gods", not "The King of Wu attacked Zhou". The main story of this book should be to chop the generals to seal the gods, and the king of Wu's chop of Zhou is only the carrier of the story. It's like growing a cucumber. The cucumber rack is just a carrier, and the cucumber vine is the cucumber itself. Therefore, in this sense, Yuan Kuocheng defines this book as a ghost novel, which is more accurate than Dan Tianfang's robe novel. Secondly, the traditional storytelling is called robe bunt, and the bibliography of robe books is particularly large, while the bibliography of ghost books is quite limited. As far as the present situation is concerned, there are few books about ghosts and gods. Yuan Kuocheng regarded The Romance of Ghosts and Ghosts as a novel about ghosts and gods, which in itself has an advantage of attaching importance to rare things. Therefore, compared with Dan Tianfang, Yuan Kuocheng's positioning of The Romance of Gods is more brilliant. For a book, accurate positioning is the key to its success or failure. Just like two versions of the TV series The Journey to the West, the later episode of 15, although the stunts are better and the martial arts are more exciting, it is far less classic than the old version. The key reason is that the supplementary version of The Journey to the West, like a martial arts film, failed to capture the most essential features of The Journey to the West's fairy tales. Of course, this is not to say that Dan Tianfang's deified romance is not good. As a robe book, the single edition is still highly deified.

The Emperor's version of Shen Feng, like the Yuan version, also regarded it as a ghost novel. Wang Wenyu used to talk mainly about cross talk, so Shen Feng's romance is humorous and pleasant to hear. It's just that after all, the storytelling skill is not enough, and the level is not as good as that of the meta version. To sum up, Yuan Ben's Shen Feng is the most orthodox and highest-level version of all the current editions.

As a ghost novel, humor is the most important requirement. Yuan Kuocheng said this sentence many times in Gods: "Is it possible? You see, this is not a myth. He is very interesting. " In other words, for this type of story, the most important thing is to be interesting. In fact, a very important feature of Yuan Kuocheng's storytelling art is humor, which is most obvious in Romance of the Gods. For example, when Nezha killed Li Liang, a sea patrol hag, and the Dragon King took the soldiers and crabs out for revenge, Yuan Kuocheng said, "When Nezha saw that the coke was broken, how could there be so much seafood here? I can come again this time. " There is also the Dragon King of the East China Sea who wants to go to Chentang personally to apologize. His strategist said, "Why don't you go out like this and not scare others?" Say you are a dragon lantern, and no one will support you. "And so on, many places are very interesting. It can be said that Meta Edition is a very good book.

Speaking of humor, this thing is the embodiment of high wisdom, and humor is a different concept. You can easily distinguish between typical humor and funny. However, there is little discussion on how to accurately distinguish the two different concepts of humor and funny. In fact, humor and funny can be distinguished by the different combination structures of "flexion" and "straightness".

In the Romance of Gods, it is said that Jiang Ziya fished with a straight hook in Panxi. The adaptation of Yuan Kuocheng version is more reasonable. A very important feature of meta-edition respect is humanization. For example, Sanxian Island has no big faults, especially Xiao Yun sissy. In the Yuan version of "This Zun", it was changed to the Antarctic old birthday star who tried to persuade him not to listen, so the Antarctic old birthday star had to do so and saved the queen's life.

In fact, the original work of "Romance of the Gods" is a great failure. Many people read the original book and are extremely disgusted with the just side of the story, but they are particularly sympathetic to the evil side. Metaversion respects a large number of adaptations, which basically solves this problem. In fact, all the popular adaptations in Shen Feng are better than the original, such as Yuan Kuocheng's storytelling, such as the TV series Shen Feng Explosion in the early 1990s.
