Where is Guizhou Shouquan?

Guizhou Shouquan is located in Dadong Village, Yongcong Township, Liping County, Guizhou Province.

Locals call it "Yang Gong Crying Water Spring", saying that it is a spring well, but no water usually flows out. When you want to drink water, you need to pray devoutly, and spring water will gush out. After drinking it, the spring water stopped flowing. In fact, this is a capillary phenomenon of groundwater, and these springs are mostly distributed in limestone caves in karst areas.

When people roar or make other noises at the spring mouth, sound waves enter the water storage tank in the spring cave, causing the air inside to resonate and vibrate, thus forming pressure on the water surface that is about to overflow, thus generating water waves, and then emerging through some capillaries to form spring water. Only after the vibration and sound stop for a certain time, the infiltration and siphon function of the pore "tube" will return to its original state.

There are only three geological and geomorphological conditions for the formation of Shouquan:

First, it must be a karst area of carbonate rocks, especially limestone and dolomite.

The second is a low-lying environment surrounded by mountains, with good water collection and supply.

Sanduo is a declining spring. But the most important thing is its special internal structure. Here, the size of Hu Quan's pot is estimated to be about 65,438+00 to 20 cubic meters, and there is also a "spout" bent like a siphon. The lid of the pot has a small crack (water supply road) leading to the surface soil, and the upper part of the pot has a small tube running through the groundwater to receive supplementary water.
