Tengchong, Yunnan is located in Baoshan City, Yunnan Province.

Tengchong is a county-level city managed by Baoshan City, located in the southwest of Yunnan Province, west of Baoshan City, about 606 kilometers away from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, and bordering Longyang District, Longling County, lianghe county, Lushui City, Yingjiang County and Myanmar.

Tengchong, Yunnan is an important gateway to South Asia and Southeast Asia. It is also a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, a country of literature and a jade distribution center. Tengchong was called Yunnan and Vietnam in the Western Han Dynasty. The museum has a collection of more than 3,500 World War II cultural relics, including the Chinese Expeditionary Force, the Indian troops of China, the United States and Britain, and the People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

Tengchong Confucian Temple, also known as Gong Xue and Hong Xue, is located in Tengchong City and is a large group building. Founded in the 16th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the 5th year of Guangxu, it is the only well-preserved Gong Xue in the west of Nujiang River and the only ancient architectural complex in Tengchong during the Anti-Japanese War.
