The environment in magnetic kiln town, Ningyang County, Tai 'an is very poor?

I'm from Ningyang. Although I'm not from magnetic kiln town, I go there many times every year. The environment there is really not so good. The economic development zone in Ningyang is there, along with pesticide plant and some coal. The pollution is quite serious. But we Ningyang people are also typical Shandong people, honest and generous. Our Ningyang is very close to Qufu, Confucius' hometown, which is seriously influenced by Confucianism and a bit conservative.
