How old is that ancient pagoda in Weishi County, Henan Province?

About 100 meters southbound from the bus station in Weishi County, an ancient pagoda suddenly came into view: the tower has eight floors, nearly 30 meters high, blue-gray, hexagonal, double eaves, simple and elegant, tall and straight-this is the famous xingguo temple Tower (also known as Dongguan Tower) in Weishi County.

Xingguo temple Tower has a long history. According to old books, "There is a temple in Dongli, Weishi County called Xingguo. Zhao was stunned by the strategy of rejuvenating the country and was defeated repeatedly, leaving only a floating map and an abandoned address. " A floating picture is a tower. Therefore, the xingguo temple Tower was built in the Taiping and Xingguo period of the Northern Song Dynasty (976-984 AD), with a history of 1000 years.
