Baiyun Temple 1
Baiyun Temple, located in Baiyun Road, Xicheng District, is the first avenue landscape in Beijing and is known as "the first jungle of all roads". Baiyun Temple was originally built to bury Qiu Chuji's legacy, which is located on the east side of Taiji Palace in Jin Dynasty. Qiu Chuji is one of the seven disciples of Quanzhen founder Wang Zhongyang, who founded the Dragon School. His body is still buried in the stone platform under the incense table of Guanneiqiu ancestral hall. Baiyun Temple, written by Yuan Dynasty, has a large scale, and its front wall and shadow wall are timeless.
The gate is a signboard with seven floors and four pillars. It used to be a place where Taoist priests looked at the stars and the sky in the middle of the temple. To the east of GuanSanqing Pavilion is the Tibetan Scripture Building, which holds the Yuan Dynasty's orthodox Tibetan Scripture since the Ming Dynasty. At that time, the monument of the Yuan Dynasty was built, and it has been preserved intact to this day. Now the Chinese Taoist Association is located in Baiyun Temple.
2. Tanzhe Temple
Founded in the first year of Yongjia in the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 307). The temple was originally named Kafka Temple, and Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty named it Yunxiu Temple. But because there is Longtan behind the temple and Zheshu on the mountain, it is called "Tanzhe Temple" by the people. It has a history of nearly 1700 years, and is known as the folk saying "Tanzhe Temple first, then Beijing City".
Tanzhe Temple is located at the foot of Tanzhe Mountain in the southeast of Mentougou District in western Beijing, more than 30 kilometers away from the city center. Sitting in a temple facing south, with Mount Everest as its back, there are nine tall peaks surrounded by horseshoe-shaped rings, just like being supported by nine dragons. The high mountain peaks block the cold current from the northwest, so the climate here is warm and humid. There are towering pagodas of ancient trees in the temple, and the halls are towering. The whole temple building is cleverly laid out according to the terrain, and the environment is extremely beautiful during the decoration with famous bamboo flowers.

Located at the intersection of Andingmen East Street and Lama Temple Street in Dongcheng District, it is the largest and most well-preserved Lama Temple in Beijing. Yonghe Palace was built in the thirty-third year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, and it was the residence before Yongzheng ascended the throne. After nine years of rule, it was converted into a Tibetan Buddhist temple and became the center of the Qing government's management of Lamaism affairs throughout the country.
The Lama Temple has a unique artistic style, which combines many architectural arts such as Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan. The palaces are resplendent and magnificent, and the pavilions are towering into the sky. There are both the magnificent buildings of the palaces and the solemn atmosphere of the ancient temples. Arhat Mountain carved by rosewood in Yonghe Palace; Maitreya Buddha carved in white sandalwood; Nanmu's sandalwood niche carved with gold wire is known as the "three wonders" of Yonghe Palace woodcarving.
4. reclining Buddha temple
Also called "Shifang Pujue Temple". Located at the northern foot of Xishan Mountain, the southern foot of Niu Shan and the east side of Xiangshan Mountain, 30 kilometers away from the urban area. Because there are huge bronze statues of Sakyamuni and reclining Buddha Temple in the temple, it is named. The reclining Buddha is 5.2 meters long, with 25,000 kilograms of copper and 7,000 workers casting Buddha statues. The Buddha sleeps sideways, lying on the couch with his head facing west and south, his left hand lying flat on his leg and his right hand bowing.
It is said that this is a memorial statue of Sakyamuni. Standing next to him is the 12 little Buddha statue and his 12 disciple. Their facial expressions are heavy and sad, which constitutes the scene of Sakyamuni telling the twelve disciples about the funeral. On the front wall of the temple, there is a horizontal plaque of "freedom", which means that if you get the true meaning of life, you will get the greatest freedom. In addition, several Borneo trees were planted in the temple. Every late spring and early summer, white flowers are in full bloom, like countless white jade pagodas hanging upside down between branches and leaves, with no feelings.
About 500 meters northwest of the reclining Buddha Temple,
