1967 was born in Changchun City, Jilin Province, and his ancestral home was Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. 1984 ——1988, studying in the middle school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

1988 to 1992 studied in the third studio of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

1993 to 1997 lived in new york, and 1998 settled in Beijing.

In 2002-2003, he studied in the advanced seminar of oil painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts.

In 2003, he was admitted to the first oil painting doctor class of Central Academy of Fine Arts, and he is still studying.
