Cults refer to illegal organizations established under the guise of religion, qigong or other names, which deify the ringleaders, confuse and deceive others, develop and control members, create and spread fallacies and heresies, and endanger society. Cults usually spread rumors under the guise of spreading religious teachings and saving mankind. Usually, there is an enlightened leader who claims to have supernatural power, controls the masses in the form of secret associations, and generally aims at collecting money by hook or by crook.

On the contrary, those who pursue, explore and reveal the laws of natural life in the universe, show ultimate concern for life, and form their own leaders, doctrines, canons and cults are "orthodox religions", that is, "correct religions";

There is the simplest way to judge whether it is a cult or not, and see if it meets any of the following phenomena:

1, is it very secretive, always carrying out activities behind people's backs?

Are you allowed to pay money and goods in various names?

3. Is the relationship between men and women chaotic and even requires you to contribute your body?

Are you attacking the country, society and government?

This is for people who don't understand religion. If you are a Buddhist disciple, then there is a more effective way to solve it, that is, three dharma seals and four in ten, don't blindly believe:

Buddhist disciples should firmly grasp the "three dharma seals", "four relics" and "ten don't blindly follow".

When the Buddha was alive, he had foreseen the evil methods of evil teachers such as Ganges sand in the last French era, so he taught his disciples three tools, namely, "three dharma seals", "four trusts" and "ten don't blindly follow". With these three tools, you can see that even if the monk is wrong. In this way, I will not be misled by evil teachers and laws, and I will ensure that I am on the road of learning Buddhism correctly.

In the words of the Buddha, anything that meets the four limits of the three laws and seals, even if it is said by beggars, is also Buddhism; Anything that doesn't meet the four limits of three dharma seals, even if it is said by Buddha, is not Buddhism!
