Where is the Town God Temple in Zhengzhou?

The full name of Zhengzhou City God Temple is "Zhengzhou City God Temple", which was built in the early Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the 14th year of Hongzhi (150 1). It is one of the large-scale and well-preserved ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties in Henan Province.

For hundreds of years, although it has been repeatedly destroyed by wars, fires and man-made, it has been built and repaired many times, basically retaining the original appearance of history, so it is precious.

The temple is located in the north and south, with entrance, vestibule, theater, main hall, bedroom, east-west cloister and so on. , arranged in sequence along the central axis, with distinct levels and reasonable layout structure. The building is covered with glazed tiles, and the building and cornices are rolled out, with exquisite shape and compact structure. The whole building, with red bricks and green tiles, painted beams and carved buildings, is dignified, simple and elegant, and is a unique architectural masterpiece of Zhengzhou in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Every year, on March 18th of the lunar calendar, there will be a temple fair in Chenghuang Temple. At that time, all kinds of folk handicrafts and snacks will be gathered here, and people will come to catch the temple fair in an endless stream, and the scene will be very lively.
