What is Spatholobus suberectus?

Spatholobus suberectus is a plant of Leguminosae and Melilotus.

It is a climbing vine. When it is young, it is shrub-like, with papery or leathery leaflets, wide oval, wide obovate to nearly round. Flowers bloom around June every year, and panicles are axillary or born at the top of branchlets, and the color is white. After flowering, the pod is nearly falcate and 8- 1 1 cm long. The seeds inside are rectangular, about 2 cm long and 1 cm wide. The seed coat is purplish brown and bright, and the fruit period is between11~1February.
