Ningyuan went home, thinking that Zhongjing was mystifying, tore up the prescription and threw it away. Half a year later, his condition developed as Zhang Zhongjing said, and he hurried to find Zhang Zhongjing. But Zhongjing said, it's already late, so prepare for the funeral. Ning Yuan thought that he would die after half a year anyway, so he might as well go sightseeing now. A year later, Ning Yuan came back to visit Zhang Zhongjing. When Zhang Zhongjing saw it, he was very surprised and thought that he must have met the man of God. Ningyuan told Zhang Zhongjing that he traveled to Maoshan, worked as a boy servant in Qing porch, and treated him in the old way. At first, he treated people in the backyard or in his own home after handling official duties; Later, because more and more people came to see a doctor, he was overwhelmed. He simply moved the clinic to the hall in Changsha and sat in the hall for treatment in public, setting a precedent for famous doctors to sit in the hall. His actions have been passed down as an eternal story.

Later, in memory of Zhang Zhongjing, people called the doctor sitting in the drugstore "sitting doctor". These doctors also named their own pharmacy "XX Tang Pharmacy", which is the origin of the Chinese medicine shop called "Tang".

Story 5

Zhang Zhongjing is an official in Changsha. When he retired in his later years, it happened to be the winter of that year. The wind is biting and the snow is falling. On the edge of the Baihe River, Zhang Zhongjing saw many homeless people with sallow faces and thin clothes. Because of the cold, their ears are frozen and rotten, and their hearts are very uncomfortable.

After returning home, because Zhang Zhongjing's reputation has long been famous all over the world, many people came to see a doctor. Zhang Zhongjing is responsive and busy all day, but despite the large number of people who come to see a doctor, Zhang Zhongjing still misses those who have frozen ears.

After research, he developed a therapeutic prescription that can keep out the cold, which is called "Quhan Joule Decoction".

He told his disciples to build a shed in an open space in Dongguan, Nanyang, and put it on a cauldron to give medicine to the poor. The opening day is the solstice of winter, and the medicine given is "Quhan Joule Decoction".

At first, the Joule Soup for Eliminating Cold was actually to boil mutton and some medicines for eliminating cold in a pot, take it out and chop it up after cooking, wrap it in a flour bag like an ear, then put it in a pot and cook the stuffed dough with the original soup.

After the bread is made, it looks like an ear, and because its function is to prevent the ear from freezing, Zhang Zhongjing named it "Joule".

Zhang Zhongjing asked his apprentice to give each poor person a bowl of soup and two "corners". People eat "dumplings" and drink soup. They are warm all over and their ears are hot. Nobody frostbites their ears anymore.

When Zhang Zhongjing worked in Changsha, he was always kind to the people and loved by the masses. After retirement, Changsha people send representatives back to their hometown every year.

As the saying goes, doctors can't cure their own diseases. Zhang Zhongjing is also a human being, not a god.

One year, Zhang Zhongjing was ill, and he knew that the lamp oil of life was about to burn out.

People who came to visit him in Changsha said that there was a place with good geomantic omen in Changsha, and they wanted Zhang Zhongjing to live there in a hundred years, but the people in Nanyang quit and the two sides quarreled.

Zhang Zhongjing said: Eat Changsha water and don't forget Changsha's old feelings; Born in Nanyang, I never forget my hometown. After my death, you carried my coffin from Nanyang to Changsha and buried me where the spiritual rope was broken.

That winter, Zhang Zhongjing drove a crane westward. The day of death happened to be the winter solstice.

When the funeral procession went to the place where Zhang Zhongjing gave everyone "Quhan Joule Soup", the coffin rope suddenly broke.

According to Zhang Zhongjing's instructions, we hit the tomb on the spot, disembarked, carried the coffin and filled the grave. The people of the two places, you and me, kept flowing, and built a grave for Zhang Zhongjing greatly, and built a temple for him in front of the grave. This is the holy land of medicine now.

Zhang Zhongjing died on the solstice of winter, and made a soup to dispel cold and charming ears on the solstice of winter. In memory of him, everyone eats jiaozi on the winter solstice. They all say that when they eat jiaozi on the winter solstice, their ears will not freeze in winter.

Few people eat "Quhan Joule Soup", but after years of erosion, the custom of eating jiaozi in winter solstice has been handed down. The types and shapes of jiaozi have also been greatly improved. Where there are China people, there is jiaozi, and jiaozi has become the representative food for family reunion, but Zhang Zhongjing's name is rarely mentioned.

Story six

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Nanyang had a government. He did a lot of bad things. People hate him and want to find a chance to vent their anger.

This year, Futai's daughter fell ill. For several months, she tried to find a famous doctor again and again, but she could not cure the disease. On this day, the government sent his family to invite Zhang Zhongjing to meet his daughter. At that time, typhoid fever was raging. Zhang Zhongjing went out early and returned late every day, and went to the countryside to treat the people. Only his son was at home. They invited Zhang Zhongjing's son.

Zhang Zhongjing's son studied medicine with him all the year round and is also a famous doctor. He came to the mansion and asked about the lady's illness. Before Mrs. Mansion could speak, tears fell down first: "Alas! She is sallow and emaciated, she can't eat or drink, and she keeps vomiting! " Said to let her daughter feel her pulse.

At that time, young doctors could not see women. So I had to pull a red line from the curtain, one end tied to the middle finger of the young lady, and the other end let Zhang Zhongjing's son pull it and put it in his ear. He listened carefully for a long time, but he didn't find it funny: haha! No one can see this disease?

It turns out that Futai's daughter is pregnant! But he didn't know that this "patient" was still an unmarried girl, so he said loudly to the government: "Congratulations, my Lord! Miss, there is nothing wrong with her. She is a happy girl! You are going to be a grandfather! "

Hearing this, the government stood trembling with anger and howled, "Bastard! This is complete nonsense. Get him out! " The family crowded on him, beat him up and kicked him out of the house.

In the evening, Zhang Zhongjing came back to listen. He was very angry. He asked his son, "Did you really see it?"

The son said, "I'm really pregnant, it's been six or seven months!" " "

Zhang Zhongjing pondered for a moment and said, "This government has done everything bad. Let's take it out on him tomorrow! "

The next day, Zhang Zhongjing called his neighbors and came to the government with gifts, just in time to catch up with the gentlemen and celebrities in the city. Zhang Zhongjing saw the ceremony at the government station, saying, "An unscrupulous son is ill-treated, and his words are rude. I hope you are honest! Today, I apologize. Secondly, I want to personally diagnose your love! "

Hearing this, the government quickly said, "Bitch is just a little itchy, Mr. He Lao!" " He said that he would hold a banquet.

Zhang Zhongjing said: "The important thing is to diagnose your love first." The government asked the servant to invite her daughter out.

Zhong Zhang see landscape that woman's look, already understand a few minutes. Secretly spit out a little medicine with the small fingernail of the right hand, hide it in the wide sleeve, and then sit up and feel the pulse for the young lady.

Zhang Zhongjing felt her pulse, and sure enough, this woman was six or seven months pregnant! He said to the patient, "Open your mouth and look at the tongue coating!" " As soon as the young lady spoke, he flicked his right thumb, put the medicine in the young lady's mouth, ordered boiled water, and the young lady drank it. Zhang Zhongjing smiled and said to the government: "When the medicine is cured, send love to the ear room for observation, and it will be fine in a while."

The government was very grateful and hosted a banquet. He just took the wine to pay tribute to Zhang Zhongjing when his wife groaned from the wing. The government was surprised. Zhang Zhongjing said: "This is medicine. Don't worry, your love will be cured in an instant! "

As soon as his voice fell, I heard the baby crying from the flank. The Futai couple were shocked at once, blushed for a while, and wanted to get into the cracks for a while. Those gentlemen and celebrities are also surprised. You look at me, and I look at you, whispering and laughing.

Zhang Zhongjing was angry and smiled. He pointed to the government and said, "Now the truth is clear. You keep saying that you are polite and honest, but all you do is steal men and prostitutes! " The Futai couple fainted with anger. Zhang Zhongjing was angry with the people and went back happily.
