It is distributed on both banks of Liuchong River in the northwest of Guizhou, Hezhang, Nayong, Weining and Zhijin in the south bank, Bijie and Dafang coastal villages in the north bank. The languages are Miao language, Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan dialect and Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan sub-dialect. The costume is in the style of Liuchong River in Wumeng Mountain.

Grandfather clan: this clan calls itself "Meng", while other clans call it "Jiao Miao". It is distributed in Agung, Shunlong, Pujia, Luomu and Chicken Farm in zhijin county, Deke in Nayong County, Suojia, Lengba and Rat Farm in Liuzhi Special Zone, and Coal Cave and Horse Farm in Puding County. The languages are Miao language, Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan dialect and Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan sub-dialect. Clothing is Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan style.

Panxian branch: This branch calls itself "Meng" and "Miao Hua". Distributed in the border area of Panxian and Puan counties in Guizhou. The languages are Miao language, Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan dialect and Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan sub-dialect. Clothing is Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan slippery slate.

Kaiyuan Branch: This branch calls itself "Meng Bo", which means "Black Miao". It is distributed in Kaiyuan, Mengzi, Guangnan, Wenshan, Maguan, Gejiu and some towns and villages in other counties and cities where Wenshan and Honghe belong. Clothing is Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan style.

Mongolian branch: This branch calls itself "Mongolian branch", which means "Han Miao". It's called "crooked comb seedling". Distributed in Dafang, Bijie, Zhijin, Qianxi, Pingba, Anshun, Puding, Zhenning, Langdai, Liupanshui, Anlong, Xingren, Qinglong, Xingyi, Longlin, Xilin, Guangxi, Guangnan, Qiubei, Mengzi, Gejiu and other counties and cities in Yunnan. The language is the second dialect of western Miao language, Sichuan-Guizhou-Yunnan sub-dialect. Clothing is made of gold in Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan.

Hainan Branch: This branch moved from the mainland, and its language and costumes are basically the same as Yao's "Golden Gate" branch.
