Master Xing Yun: past lives, do the bottom things.

Some people, based on their curiosity about past lives, recall what their past lives were like. Facing the future, I am even more at a loss. I often guess the future fortune through fortune telling, fortune telling and divination. I often think that people's past cannot be made up; People's future is out of reach, so why not grasp the karma of this life?

Buddhism is not fatalism, and no god can control our destiny. As the saying goes, "if you want to know the cause of past lives, you will suffer in this life;" Want to know the future results, the author of this life is ". If you want to know all kinds of past lives, you might as well look at what happened in this life. If you are poor, you should wash it with the water of repentance and feel ashamed that you have hurt others in the past. If everything goes well, you should also know how to cherish happiness and get attached to it, and don't waste your savings.

The so-called past life is not manipulated by the god of fate, it is the causal law of the world universe. No one can violate the law of cause and effect. Seek health and longevity, and care for students with compassion; Seek money and profit, be willing to pay and become attached; Seek family harmony and happiness, be patient first; Be smart and stay away from alcohol, tobacco and drugs.

The Buddhist scripture says, "Bodhisattva fears cause, while all beings fear fruit. Enlightenment bodhisattva is cautious at the beginning, but dare not violate it if it is slightly evil. Powerful beings are arrogant, and only when they see retribution do they begin to fear and regret. There are more than 9,000 volumes of Buddhist scriptures. In fact, as long as we can keep the eight-character mantra: "don't do evil, do good", we can eliminate disasters and take refuge, be happy and healthy.

Past lives and afterlife, why bother to wrinkle a pool of spring water? What matters is how to manage this life well. Want to be a kind bodhisattva, or a hungry ghost and a wolf? Are you building hell or heaven?
