Taoism was introduced into Qufu earlier. During the period of Xiangfu in Song Huizong, Emperor Xuanyuan was the ancestor of Zhenzong, and a large-scale Jingling Palace was built in Shouqiu (now the northeast of Dongjiuxian Village in Qufu).
