Brief introduction of Hebei North University

Approved by the Ministry of Education, the school was merged from Zhangjiakou Medical College, Zhangjiakou Normal College and Zhangjiakou Agricultural College in September 2003. The predecessor of Zhangjiakou Medical College was the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Bethune Health School, which was established in 1945. 1982 was upgraded to an undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education and named Zhangjiakou Medical College.

Zhangjiakou Teachers College was founded in1956; Zhangjiakou Agricultural College was founded in 1923.
