Brief introduction of shiji town

Shiji Town is located 6 kilometers southeast of xinyi city, Jiangsu Province, with a total area of 127.67 square kilometers, and governs 18 administrative villages with a total population of 48,000. The climate here is pleasant, the natural conditions are superior, the terrain is flat, the land is fertile and the four seasons are distinct. It belongs to temperate monsoon climate (annual average temperature 13.7℃), with abundant sunshine and short frost period, which is suitable for crop growth. The transportation here is convenient, with 205 National Highway and Lianhuo Expressway in the north and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Xinchang Railway in the east. There are cement roads leading to Xinshi, Yanshi, Wangshi, Gaoshi, Shao Shi and other surrounding areas. The territory is rich in mineral resources such as porcelain stone and rutile. The proven reserves of Baishicun porcelain stone and rutile are above 1 100 million tons, which are the largest mines in northern Jiangsu and the second largest in China respectively. Shiji Town is a typical agricultural town, known as the "granary in northern Jiangsu", with an annual output of more than 60 million Jin of grain.
