History of Shuyang Experimental Primary School in Jiangsu Province

In 953, Jianling Primary School in Shuyang County was renamed as Jianling Central Primary School.

1958, Jianling Central Primary School was renamed as Shuyang Normal School, and expanded to 14 class with 700 students. 1July, 962, Shuyang Normal School was closed, and the affiliated primary school was renamed Shuyang Experimental Primary School.

1968 in April, a year and a half after the split between the two factions, the school revolutionary Committee was established. At the same time, the experimental primary school was renamed Shuyang County Workers, Peasants and Soldiers Primary School, and the military propaganda team and industrial propaganda team were stationed in the school three times. In the meantime, a junior high school was added.

On February 2 1 65438,0979, Shuyang County Bureau of Culture and Education reported to the County Revolutionary Committee for approval according to the school report, revoking the name of Shuyang County Workers, Peasants and Soldiers Primary School and restoring the name of Shuyang County Experimental Primary School before the Cultural Revolution.

1July, 980, junior high school was cancelled and the complete primary school system was restored. The number of classes in grade 1-5 increased to 24.

1995 was named "Jiangsu Famous Primary School" and 1998 was confirmed as "Jiangsu Experimental Primary School".
