The Historical Evolution of Guhe Town

Guhe Town was founded in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, located in the southwest of Quanjiao County, at the junction of Hexian County, hanshan county County and Chaohu County. 1984 was approved as a sub-county town, 1999 as a central town and a pilot town for comprehensive reform, and 200/kloc-0 was approved as a pilot town for collective land transfer. The whole town covers an area of/kloc-0.04 square kilometer, governs 20 administrative villages and 4 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 46,000, a built-up area of 3.5 square kilometers, a permanent population of/kloc-0.5 million, and an urbanization level of 33%.

The town faces the Chuhe River in the south and has a wharf with an annual throughput of 250,000 tons. It is connected to the 3 12 expressway in the north and goes directly to all parts of the country; Backed by the Dushan Mountain, which is rich in marble and mineral water and luxuriant in pines, and the Hening Highway passes through the town, the land and water transportation is convenient. The terrain is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful natural scenery and simple folk customs.
