How did the name of Zhujiajiao ancient town come from?

At the northern foot of Jiu Feng, by the Dianshan Lake, there is a 47-square-kilometer folding fan-shaped ancient town embedded in lakes and mountains. Just like a bright pearl beside Dianshan Lake, she is the famous ancient town of Zhujiajiao. Nine long streets extending along the river, thousands of Ming and Qing buildings standing by the water, 36 ancient stone bridges and places of interest abound. Zhujiajiao has a long history. According to historical records, a market named Zhujiajiao was formed in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. Because of the convenient transportation across the Caogang River in the town, the business is booming and there are thousands of fireworks. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhenzhu Street Pavilion, also known as Zhuxi, was officially completed. "Zhu Li Xiao Zhi" was compiled in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, with Julie as the town name, commonly known as Li Jiao. Zhujiajiao, with its unique natural environment and convenient waterway transportation, was once famous for its cloth industry and became a giant town in the south of the Yangtze River.
